Today I sat, appalled at the T.V.
As I heard a doctor shoot co-workers down
Making light of patients' ills while he popped his favorite pills
It didn't seem as funny this time 'round

So I thought about the reason I'd been watching
And saw my nasty nature peeking through
Sometimes I'll use a cheap shot, but his insults flow non-stop
Now I think it's time that I say to you:

I don't want to watch "House"
That mean, self-righteous lout
I'll watch "Dead Zone" or "Stargate"
And they won't gross me out

He whines while patients die
And when I watch "House"
My dinner says, "Goodbye".
